Gold electric rams are similar to regular Gold Rams, but they have extra blue on them. They are gorgeous and vibrant fish that develop a rainbow coloring on their dorsal fins. Like German Blue Rams, they have blue speckling across their bodies and fins once mature. These colors are more prominent on males than females. These Gold Electrics in particular came from crossing Black Rams and Electric Blue Ram hybrids, so they are highly likely to have Black/Electric Blue Ram genes in them. There’s also a good chance that these rams will have long-fins or at least carry the long-fin gene. M. Ramirezi is a species of tropical fish that like it extra warm, with an ideal temperature of at least 82F. They can get quite territorial with other fish, especially their own kind. It’s best to have a lot of plants or other decorations to act as visual barriers in order to reduce aggression.
